Join a Community Garden in Richland Center and GROW!

Why?

Gardeners become more self-sufficient and empowered by growing their own food. Community members come together to produce food and find natural outgrowths of personal relationships, community development, beautification, environmental justice, crime prevention, leadership, healthy living, and self-reliance for their neighborhood as a whole. So, discover the joy of growing your own plants or join other skilled gardeners in the dirt this summer!

Where?

There are two locations in Richland Center to have your own garden. The newest one on Seminary Street was made possible by many community volunteers and a Wisconsin Partnership Program grant through Richland FIT.

When?

If you are interested in renting a community garden plot, forms are available at the Parks and Recreation office, 1050 N Orange St. The office is open from 8AM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday.
